Pullman National Historical Park is a “partnership park,” drawing on the assets and resources of numerous organizations, public agencies, and the Pullman community itself. As the Friends Group for Pullman National Historical Park, the Friends of Pullman coordinate efforts among Pullman’s various partner groups.

National Park Service
The National Park Service is housed in the historic Administration Clock Tower Building. The NPS Visitor Center offers fantastic Pullman exhibits and gift shop, plus educational programs, and free Ranger-led tours.
Pullman State Historic Site
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources owns and preserves the surviving portions of the original Pullman factory complex as well as the Hotel Florence.
Illinois Labor History Society
The Illinois Labor History Society seeks to encourage the preservation and study of labor history especially in the Illinois region, and to build interest in the profound significance of labor’s past through the present.
Pullman House Project
The Pullman House Project invites visitors to explore actual Pullman homes remade to reflect the actual living conditions experienced by Pullman workers and their families. Visit the Pullman Club Coffee Shop at 605 East 111th Street and explore the stories of Pullman.
Pullman Civic Organization
An organization of Pullman residents and homeowners promoting the general welfare of the community, preserving its historical significance, and educating others on the area’s significance. Volunteers and working committees strive to continue to make Pullman one of Chicago’s most interesting and safest places to live.
Historic Pullman Garden Club
The Historic Pullman Garden Club was established to continue the extraordinary works of the original Pullman landscape architect, Nathan Barrett. Today, the club organizes tours, presents speaker events, and beautify the many greenspaces of Pullman National Historical Park.
PullmanArts / Block House Gallery
PullmanArts exists to bring together arts & culture on Chicago’s far south side. They believe that everyone deserves access to art, and that creators should be treated like family. The lofts currently house artists, feature artwork for sale and display, and offer opportunities to volunteer.
Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives
CNI seeks to revitalize neighborhoods and create jobs by developing high-impact projects, providing financial resources to entrepreneurs, and sustaining long-term community partnerships. Its work in Pullman supports the community in building for the future by investing in housing, diverse employment, ample retail choices, and recreation opportunities.
National A. Philip Randolph Pullman Porter Museum
A museum to promote, honor, and celebrate the legacy of A. Philip Randolph and contributions made by African-Americans to America’s labor history through the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters.
