Volunteer with Friends of Pullman
Pullman National Historical Park isn’t just a historical site—it’s a place where big national stories come into focus through real places and real experiences. The stories of American industry, railroad innovation, labor, civil rights, community, and so much more all come together in this one square mile. As more visitors come from across the country to understand Pullman’s role in American history, we’re looking for people who want to help make that experience meaningful.
Volunteers are often the first person someone meets when they arrive. A quick conversation, a sense of welcome, a helpful suggestion—those moments stay with people. They shape how visitors understand Pullman and why it matters. You don’t need to be an expert. We’ll give you what you need to feel comfortable. What matters most is showing up, being open, and helping people connect with the place.
