Due to cooling issues, the Pullman Exhibit Hall is closed today, July 4th 2026. We wish our visitors a safe and festive Independence Day.

There’s still plenty to experience at Pullman National Historical Park – explore the historic Car Works grounds, operated by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, stroll through the town that helped shape America, and stop by the Pullman House Project to learn more about Pullman’s remarkable history.

Our friendly National Park Service rangers will be there to answer your questions, and the Pullman Club Coffee Shop is open cold beverages to help you beat the heat.
